After catching the ceremonial first pitch, which Biles one-hopped to the plate, Singleton approached the Olympic gold medalist with the ball and a pen that miraculously materialized on his way to the mound. Biles didn't hesitate to sign before posing with Singleton and Astros mascot, Orbit, for a quick photo.

That was quickly followed by another photo op with Astros manager Joe Espada and his daughter Viviana. And Biles wasn't the only Olympic medalist on hand. Jordan Chiles was also in Houston amid the ongoing controversy over the bronze medal that she won in the floor exercise, which was later stripped and awarded to Romanian rival Ana Barbosu .

But unlike her previous offerings, like at Game 2 of the 2019 World Series, the decorated gymnast opted against doing a flip on the field. Nonetheless, fans were overjoyed to see Biles in person after winning three more Olympic golds and a silver at the Paris Games. And the fact that Houston pulled out 3-2 win over visiting Kansas City made the evening all the better.

Earlier Friday, Biles urged Olympic fans to catch the ongoing Paralympics. 'Don't forget the Paralympics are on! let's support & watch these incredible athletes,' Biles wrote with a blue heart emoji. 'GO USA!!!!' The Paralympics kicked off on Wednesday with the opening ceremony.

It was followed by a busy opening day on Thursday, with the majority of the events starting their early stages. The games will go on through Sunday, September 8.
