House fire causes $100K in damage

Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to a northeast Lincoln house fire early Saturday morning, which resulted in more than $100,000 in damages, according to LFR spokesperson MJ Lierman.

Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to a northeast Lincoln house fire early Saturday morning, which resulted in more than $100,000 in damages, according to LFR spokesperson MJ Lierman. LFR responded to a residence near North 56th and Knox streets at about 12:20 a.m.

on a report of a fire, Lierman said. The occupants inside managed to evacuate the home without suffering injuries. Crews extinguished the fire quickly after they arrived, Lierman said.
