Hot weather remains for deserts, cooler weather for rest of SoCal

A cooling trend is in store for the rest of the week with today's highs in the mid 70s for Southern California. Desert areas will continue to see high temperatures in the 90s.

We're back to typical spring weather in Southern California with temperatures cooling down for the rest of the week. Low clouds and some patchy fog will cover the skies from the coasts to the mountains this morning. By the afternoon it's going to be sunny.

Along the beaches temperatures will reach the mid 60s, with a high of 66 degrees expected whereas the inland coast will see temperatures range from 70 to 73 degrees. We're seeing a big drop in temperatures for the valleys and inland areas. L.



A. County valleys and the Inland Empire will see highs from 72 to 78 degrees today. In the high desert the Antelope Valley will also see cooler temperatures with daytime highs from 73 to 83 degrees.

Meanwhile temperatures in Coachella Valley will range from 90 to 96 degrees. Tonight's lows will drop to the low 50s..
