Rainforest Caribbean and Select Brands have partnered for the second year for their Brand Showcase, a relaxed evening on the lawns of the historic Rose Hall Great House in Montego Bay, providing the perfect opportunity to celebrate the best offerings from both brands. Rainforest Caribbean took guests on a culinary adventure, last Thursday, curated by Chef Jacqui Tyson, who guided guests through flavourful dishes to delight all the senses. These were perfectly complemented by wines, spirits and beers from Select Brands’ extensive catalogue.
“The event is a way to show our appreciation for our respective customers and to continue to highlight the products under each brand’s portfolio. We’re always adding new products and this is also a way of introducing the new offerings to the market,” Bethany Young, group communications manager, Rainforest Caribbean, explained. Guests were treated to delicious fare at the different stations, including the Off the Hook station.
Rainforest served up options from its seafood line with a menu that included small bites of Teriyaki Salmon, Shrimp Bang Bang and Mussels in White Wine with Frites. Rainforest continued to highlight its growing range of products, including new festival Mix and johnny cake mixes, which starred at “The Dumpling Shop” station alongside traditional Jamaican dishes such as ackee and salt fish and Jacqui’s Sticky Mango Glazed Pigs Tail. Select Brands also took the opportunity to showcase Moët Hennessy as part of its new partnership with the brand.
Guests were afforded the opportunity to indulge in and enjoy some of the different categories of champagnes and cognacs under the brands. The night ended on a sweet note with the launch of the fruit bars, which are expected to hit the market this month. The six flavours are Coconut, Strawberry, Pineapple, Mango, Island Paradise and Berry Twist.
