m. Headlines from KCRA News 3 According to the CHP, the crash happened in the 9600 block of Cosumnes Road near Wilton Road in Wilton around 7:50 p.m.



CHP said both the horse and the rider suffered serious injuries. The horse was shot and put down on the scene, and the rider was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The roadway was briefly shut down, officials said.
