Hoosac Valley basketball scores an MIAA D-V State Tournament sweep in a Round of 32 doubleheader

CHESHIRE — Hoosac Valley will send two basketball teams into the Round of 16 in the MIAA Division V tournaments. While they both got there thanks to one-sided victories, the roads the Hurricanes traveled were just a touch different. In the first game of the doubleheader, visiting Saint John Paul II cut the deficit against the 13th-ranked boys to 6 points.
