HONOR 300 series is here, three smartphones have landed

HONOR has announced three new smartphones , the HONOR 300 series. All three of these phones have leaked out thus far, and they’ve just been announced in China . Yes, they’re likely coming to global markets too at some point.

Three HONOR 300 smartphones have just been announced in China All three of these phones have a similar design language , but there are differences. The vanilla model has flat sides, with a flat back and flat front. It includes a centered display camera hole and two cameras on the back.



The HONOR 300 Pro and HONOR 300 Ultra have more curves. The front and the back sides are curved towards the sides, and the display is curved too. A pill-shaped cutout is included on both displays, while three cameras sit on the back.

Those cameras are not the same, though. Let’s focus on the HONOR 300 first. That phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, which is a 4nm processor.

It’s a mid-range offering from Qualcomm. In addition to that, the phone offers 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of storage. A 6.

7-inch 2664 x 1220 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate is included on the front. It goes up to 4,000 nits of brightness at its peak. It also supports 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

Android 15 comes pre-installed here, with MagicOS 9.0 . There are two SIM card slots included, both are nano SIM.

A 5,300mAh battery is also a part of the package, and the same goes for 100W wired charging support. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner included here, and the same goes for stereo speakers. The phone is IP65 certified for water and dust resistance.

It also supports Bluetooth 5.3 and 5G connectivity. A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX906 sensor, 1/1.

56-inch sensor, f/1.95 aperture lens, OIS) sits on the back, along with a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera (112-degree FoV, f/2.2 aperture lens, 2.

5cm macro). What’s interesting is that a 50-megapixel camera is included on the front too, with the same sensor as the phone’s main camera. It has an f/2.

The HONOR 300 Pro & Ultra are very similar, but there are a couple of notable differences The HONOR 300 Pro and HONOR 300 Ultra have rather similar specs, so we’ll talk about both of them here. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 4nm processor, fuels both devices. That was Qualcomm’s flagship until the Snapdragon 8 Elite arrived.

That chip is paired with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, depending on the variant you choose. Those variants come with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage, depending on how much RAM you opt for. A 6.

78-inch 2700 x 1224 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate sits on both phones. That display is curved, and it has a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. A high-frequency 3,840Hz PWM dimming is also included here.

There are two SIM card slots inside both phones, both are nano SIM. A 5,300mAh battery is included in the package too, on both phones. Both of them support 100W SuperCharge fast charging, and 80W wireless Super Charge fast charging.

Android 15 is included here too with MagicOS 9.0. The ‘Pro’ model includes an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, while the ‘Ultra’ variant comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

Both phones feature an IR blaster up top. Stereo speakers are also included on both, as is an IP65 certification for water and dust resistance. Bluetooth 5.

A 50-megapixel selfie camera (Sony’s IMX906 sensor, f/2.1 aperture lens) sits on the front of both phones, along with a 3D depth camera for facial scanning. The HONOR 300 Pro and HONOR 300 Ultra measure 163.

8 x 75.3 x 8.2mm, while they weigh 199 (glass) / 198 (leather) grams.

The ‘Pro’ model comes in Rock Black, Tea Green, and Starlight Sand colors. The HONOR 300 Ultra launched in Camellia White and Ink Rock Black colors. The HONOR 300 Pro pricing starts at CNY3,399 ($467), and goes up to CNY3,999 ($506).
