Home Bargains shoppers think they've found the perfect alternative to top luxury brand Sol de Janeiro - and it only costs £3.99. The budget retailer has become well known for its skincare products, and the latest edition might be the perfect stocking filler for any beauty lovers in your life.
The Santa De Cruz sets include body wash, a loofah, body cream and a mini body spray. They come in two different scents, including vanilla, almond and salted caramel, or lychee and passion fruit. Plenty of shoppers were quick to notice the similarities between these and popular Sol de Janeiro products.
Sol de Janeiro has similar Bum Bum Jet Sets available for £30 at Boots. The main difference is the price, with Home Bargains' option being much cheaper than the leading brand's bundle. The Home Bargains set also comes with a loofah, which the Sol de Janeiro does not have.
Customers at Home Bargains were raving about the discovery in time for Christmas. One TikToker, @naomi1992xox, said: "Sol de Janeiro [alternative]. £3.
99 at Home Bargains. They smell so nice." Another, @Imogen24xx, wrote: "Got this today! Smells the exact same!! unrealllll.
" A third TikToker, @heartzfor.myah, shared a full review of the product alongside the caption: "this is so cute 100% recommend!!" In the clip, she said: "Hi, guys. Review the Sol de Janeiro [alternative] set from Home Bargains with me.
So these are £3.99 Home Bargains, and I can't wait to try this out. "There are actually some really good things in this.
So first you just have to unzip it, and then let's see what's inside. And I love the little case that this comes in. It's so cute.
"There is also a pink version of this - which is lychee and passion fruit - but we're gonna be reviewing the Salted Caramel one. So the first thing in this is the vanilla, almond, and salted caramel body wash, and this honestly smells so nice. "We have one of these [loofah] just to go with it.

Have one similar to this from Lidl , which is the pistachio and salted caramel one, whereas this is the vanilla, almond, and salted caramel, but they do actually smell quite similar, and as you can see, they do kind of look alike.
"This was honestly so fun to review, and I love this so much. This is probably one of the best sets that I've ever bought. So again, these are £3.
99 in Home Bargains if you want to go pick them up because I know that these will be selling out fast for Christmas .” Fans wanting to smell great for less have plenty of options on the high street without breaking the bank. B&M shoppers recently raved about the retailer's £6 Summer Beauty sets, which they claim look very similar to Sol de Janeiro's 'Duo' sets , but for much cheaper.
