Wedding Crashers star Isla Fisher has sold her two-bedroom apartment in Sydney’s leafy Woollahra suburb. The popular Hollywood comic actor first purchased the art deco gem at 96 Wallis Street, on the edge of sprawling Centennial Park, in 1995 for $171,500 while she was working on the TV soap Home and Away. She listed the unit for sale in September, with a price guide of around $1 million.

The unit was due to go to auction, but it was eventually settled through a private negotiation on October 22 for an undisclosed price. JK Agency led the sale process. “With a New York-inspired feel, this immaculate Art Deco apartment offers the best of the East in location and lifestyle,” the advertisement for the unit stated.

“Flooded with natural light, it blends serene park-side living with a cosmopolitan flair, all within a stone’s throw from Sydney’s most sought-after spots. “Directly across from Centennial Park, this newly renovated home brings you the ultimate convenience. “Whether it’s a morning coffee at Woollahra Village or a shopping spree at Bondi Junction, you’ll enjoy the perfect balance of nature and city life.

” The apartment boasts a quiet and elevated rear position in the building, the advertisement states, along with a “spacious”, updated kitchen sand bathroom and a master bedroom with built-ins and a sunny balcony. It was most recently listed for rent at $400 a week in February 2021. Alongside Wedding Crashers, Fisher has starred in hit movies such as Confessions of a Shopaholic and Now You See Me.

Ms Fisher was married to British comedy star Sacha Baron Cohen, but the pair quietly split in 2023..
