A festive clown show is coming to Brighton ahead of its return to the West End this Christmas. Slava’s SnowShow has been a seasonal hit since its UK debut in 1996, taking inspiration from the likes of Charlie Chaplin and Monty Python and pouring it into a comical theatre performance. Now, the international show, which brings together performers from across Europe and North America, will be staged in Brighton for five nights ahead of a Christmas run in London.

Slava Polunin, the man behind the show, said: “Clowning is much more than laughter - it's about seeing life from a poetic perspective, finding joy and emotions in the simple, the absurd and the unexpected. “The UK has always embraced our poetic universe and I can’t wait to see how a new audience reacts and look forward to welcoming back familiar faces who saw SnowShow many years ago.” Slava’s SnowShow will play at the Theatre Royal in Brighton from Wednesday, December 11, to Sunday, December 15.
