'I'm not saying I actively waited until 47,' the now 50-year-old explained in her swimsuit-clad Women's Health cover story on Tuesday. 'But that was a magical time in my life, when it all culminated. It was the right time for a myriad of reasons.



' Hilary said the benefit of being a new parent at her age is she's 'much more patient.' 'I'm a very different parent than I would've been, even in my early 40s,' Swank admitted. 'I'm much more understanding.

I am much more, I think, interested in a different way than I would've been. I'm really interested in their brains. I'm fascinated about what makes them tick.

I need to work on my tushy though. I need to work on my triceps. If I could pick up the babies with my triceps, I would have a full-rounded workout.
