Hilaria Baldwin, the yoga guru married to actor Alec Baldwin, opened up about undergoing a 'procedure' after having her seventh child. The couple stars in their own show dubbed The Baldwins, currently airing on TLC and available for streaming on Max. Each episode delves into their bustling family life, with seven children and glimpses at other personal connections, including this week's introduction of Alec's assistant and another cameo by Hilaria's pal, Danny.
In the latest instalment, while prepping to help with Danny's hair, Hilaria unexpectedly veers into talk of her recent cosmetic tweak. Probing Danny she asks, "So you know I did a procedure?" which prompts his sheepish acknowledgment, reports the Irish Star . Hilaria teases back: "You were like 'if the cameras are not here I will literally be like OK show me'.
" She touches lightly on her decision, hinting at changes to her body: "Well, I was breastfeeding for so long and so I decided to do a little like - a little - up, yeah?" Yet, Hilaria stops short of any explicit disclosure or using clinical jargon that could hint at the exact nature of her procedure. Speaking candidly to the camera, she shared: "I've been pregnant and or breastfeeding for over a decade. I think this is the first time I've not been pregnant or had to breastfeed since I started having kids.
I got used to my body more or less a certain way then as most women know who breastfeed and the milk goes out, it's a different much lower reality." She went on: "It almost felt like my body wasn't my body anymore because I was so used to it being a certain way. My decision, my journey was I breastfed, I felt comfortable in the way I looked before.
I didn't look that way once the milk dried up and I made a choice." In her heartfelt discussion with Danny, she confided: "So it's just to make myself feel OK and that's OK." In response, he offered comfort, saying: "By the way, almost all of my girl friends who have had kids, have had (it) done.
" Yet, Hilaria later confessed that societal pressure contributed to her decision to undergo the procedure, revealing her concerns about how this might affect her 11 year old daughter Carmen. Further reflecting, she voiced: "I worry about Carmen. She's a tween.
Every time I do something that is in the realm of vanity, I don't want them to feel that they (the children) have to be a certain way and I want to protect Carmen. Because I've experienced a lot of self doubt and listened to the criticism more than I should have from opinions." The Baldwins premieres weekly on Sundays at 10/9c on TLC.
