The Helena High volleyball team was at home against Missoula Hellgate on Tuesday night but ended up falling to the Knights in five sets by the scores of 17-25, 25-23, 25-19, 18-25 and 9-15. Helena dropped the first set but won the second and third before dropping the last two to the Knights. Birdie Heuiser led the way for the Bengals with 19 kills.
Morgan Koch pitched in with three blocks and two aces, while Kiran Dusko notched three aces and 32 assists. The Capital volleyball team played at Sentinel on Tuesday and were swept in straight sets by the scores of 25-16, 25-10 and 25-19. Jaiden Grooms paced CHS with seven assists, four blocks and an ace.
Kaelyn Saari also managed a team-high five kills in the loss, while Emiley Ereth notched two aces..
