Here’s a roundup of high school varsity action on Monday, April 14.BaseballFallston 6, Patterson Mill 2: The Cougars scored all six of their runs in the first inning and cruised to victory. Aiden Stromberger doubled in two runs to highlight the rally.
Ethan Slicher singled in two. Reese Conley struck out nine in 6 2⁄3 innings on the mound.Harford Tech 10, Havre de Grace 1: CJ Scism struck out 11 in six innings on three-hit ball.
Josh Hayes pitched a scoreless seventh to close the game. Scism also helped his own cause with four RBIs. Quinton Kron added a two-run home run.
Aiden Sullivan also drove in two runs.SoftballHavre de Grace 8, Harford Tech 1: Lilly Dalton pitched six innings, striking out nine and allowing just one run on three hits. Sarah Weitzel struck out two in a perfect seventh.
