Bleacher Report catches you up on the latest news from the WWE Universe. Triple H Says WrestleMania 41 Main Event 'Penciled In' WrestleMania 41 is just over three months away, and WWE head of creative Triple H recently provided some insight into his plans for the biggest show of the year. During an appearance on the SI Media podcast with Jimmy Traina (h/t Felix Upton of Ringside News), Triple H said the following when asked if the main event is set for WrestleMania in Las Vegas: "Yes, with an asterisk.

I cannot tell you what happens between today and Las Vegas. People get hurt, you get a phone call, 'Have you ever considered doing this with me?' 'Oh, that's an amazing opportunity. Maybe we go in a different direction.

' Sometimes you start to go down the road with a storyline and it's not resonating the way I thought it would, 'Maybe this would be bigger.' "We had a card for WrestleMania loosely written out in October, and that's morphed a lot. We're sort of sitting down on a regular basis, weekly, and talking about what do we believe the shift is.

Where do we see the shift happening and what do we need to move around? Can I say I have something penciled in? Yes. Do I think it will stay? I think, but I'm not sure." To Triple H's point, last year's WrestleMania card seemingly had to be shuffled significantly with CM Punk's injury being one of the main reasons why.

All signs pointed toward a Punk vs. Seth Rollins match at WrestleMania 40 for the World Heavyweight Championship, but Punk got injured during the men's Royal Rumble match and was unable to work, which resulted in Drew McIntyre taking his place. Also, The Rock showed back up in January 2024, which may have altered plans, as the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 40 ended up being Roman Reigns and The Rock vs.

Cody Rhodes and Rollins. The Rock's status for WrestleMania 41 isn't yet clear, and his intentions could potentially have a sizable impact on the card. Recent rumors suggest that two blockbuster matches are penciled in for WrestleMania 41 with Fightful Select (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News) reporting that Reigns vs.

Punk is in the works, and PWInsider.com (h/t Carrier ) reporting that WWE is set to build toward Rhodes vs. John Cena.

Triple H Talks The Rock's WWE Status Amid speculation regarding The Rock's status for WrestleMania 41, Triple H discussed his working relationship with The Final Boss last week. During his interview on the SI Media podcast with Jimmy Traina (h/t H Jenkins of Ringside News), Triple H talked about collaborating with the The Rock and the possibility of him being involved with the road to WrestleMania, saying: "He's earned the right to kind of come and go and do what he pleases and trust that he'll always do what is right for WWE in the end. He's super collaborative with me and super collaborative with [WWE president] Nick [Khan] on what we want to do, contrary to what a lot of people think.

Time will tell. I don't want to give anything away, but I do believe that as moments appear here that are huge game-changing moments, he's a game-changer. That's what he does and who he is.

" Triple H added that The Rock's "passion, DNA, lineage, family" are "intertwined" in WWE and pro wrestling as a whole, which is why he continues to be part of the business. Although The Rock constantly has major outside projects to work on, including acting roles and the United Football League, he is also an official part of WWE as a member of the TKO board of directors. Last year's WrestleMania 40 marked The Rock's first true match in WWE since 2013, and given his promo segment with Rhodes on the Raw after WrestleMania, it seemed as though more was in the works for the future.

Nothing has come to fruition yet, but given that The Rock returned last January to begin the build toward his WrestleMania 40 match, something similar could happen this year. On Monday night, Raw will debut on Netflix, and a massive card is being advertised for the event. The Rock announced Sunday that he will be part of the show, and it feels like the perfect spot for him to potentially set the stage for WrestleMania 41.

Stratton's Reported Character Status After Title Win Tiffany Stratton turned on Nia Jax and cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to become women's world champion on Friday night's episode of SmackDown, but it doesn't necessarily mean a character change is forthcoming. According to Chris Featherstone of SportsKeeda, WWE has not listed Stratton as a babyface on its internal roster. In recent months, Stratton's storyline saw her essentially acting as Jax's lackey, routinely getting bullied along the way.

On SmackDown, she finally stood up to her tormentor and took the women's world title away from her. That would normally constitute as face turn, but the manner in which Stratton cashed in was seemingly done in a calculated manner to avoid that being the case. In addition to attacking Jax and Candice LeRae, Stratton hit Naomi with her Money in the Bank briefcase and threw Bianca Belair over the announce table.

Both Naomi and Belair are beloved babyfaces, so the fact that Tiffany was willing to mow them down in order to get the title makes it quite clear that she is far from a babyface. At the same time, Stratton has made an enemy in Jax, who is the top heel in the SmackDown women's division, so it appears as though Tiffany will be more of a tweener than a full-fledged heel or face moving forward.
