Homeless Hope Foundation, founded by Mount Pleasant local high schooler Grace Griffin, is partnering with local Chick-fil-a owners, Trey Campbell, Joe Hawkins, and Josh Malone to fight veteran homelessness in our town. Grace founded Homeless Hope Foundation in April 2022 after years as a school chapter serving our city’s homeless. In 2024, Griffin focused her attention on our veteran homeless with the addition of Tunnel to Towers opening of the Charleston Veteran Village by starting a charitable campaign “Sweets for Veterans”.

Local Chick-fil-as are donating to Homeless Hope $1 per cookie sold starting Veteran’s Day, Nov, 11 through Nov. 16. Homeless Hope is in turn donating the combined store donations to Tunnel to Towers for Veteran Homeless and housing in Veteran Villages.

Griffin's vision is to aid those who have given so much to our country and to destigmatize the issue of homelessness..
