Did you know with an ad-lite subscription to Northampton Chronicle and Echo, you get 70% fewer ads while viewing the news that matters to you.

Held on the second Saturday of each month in the car park of Duston Village Bakery and inside the venue, the aim has always been to encourage more people to shop with talented locals. The market has now built up a roster of traders who return each month, and they continue to prove a hit among loyal visitors. It is also important that new traders are welcomed each time to add to the growing variety.

It is free for all to attend and do not forget to go inside the bakery, as Jenni and her team are ready to serve their delicious creations. This weekend you can purchase treats from The Sweet Cart, natural skincare and beauty products from a Neal’s Yard stockist, clothing from Mint and Dove, and astrological accessories from Moondrop Studio.

Jenni told the Chronicle & Echo : “Now we have the fruit and veg man, it’s helping all of the community – as well as having different stalls each time. “ People get to see what lots of stallholders make and do.

I just love helping people and giving them the chance to show what they can make. It brings the whole village together.” Advertisement Advertisement The bakery owner also shared that she is hoping to welcome a butchers van to the car park each week in the near future.

Duston Village Bakery has already pencilled in its Christmas market for November 21, with more than 20 stalls of local crafts and food to browse..
