BLACKPINK LISA – Here’s what BLACKPINK’s Lisa said after completing her role in The White Lotus —a heartfelt message filled with gratitude and pride. Lisa Manoban, a member of the global K-pop sensation BLACKPINK, has concluded her first acting role in Season 3 of HBO’s acclaimed series The White Lotus. Sharing her thoughts on Instagram, Lisa posted behind-the-scenes glimpses and a heartfelt message, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to play Mook—a wellness expert at a luxurious Thai resort.

She thanked creator Mike White for entrusting her with the character, saying she was honored to bring Mook to life. Originally from Thailand, Lisa conveyed how meaningful it was to participate in a project that not only marked her acting debut but also showcased her homeland. She expressed immense pride in being able to highlight Thai culture and share the beauty of her country with a global audience.

Reflecting on her journey, Lisa revealed that the role of Mook profoundly impacted her, helping her learn more about herself and her potential. Although she admitted to feeling a sense of emptiness as the show wraps, she emphasized that she’s ending the experience with “a full heart.” In the series, Lisa’s character Mook forms a romantic bond with Gaitok, a resort security guard played by Tayme Thapthimthong.

Speaking to Variety, Lisa described Mook as “flirtier and lady-like,” noting the contrast to her own more tomboyish personality. Lisa was part of a star-studded cast that included big names such as Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, and Sam Rockwell. Fan favorites Natasha Rothwell and Jon Gries also returned to reprise their roles.

As she steps away from The White Lotus, Lisa leaves behind not just a successful first foray into acting, but a meaningful contribution to cultural representation, earning praise from fans around the world. READ ALSO: Niana Guerrero & Blackpink’s Lisa Set the Dance Floor on Fire.
