This year’s Nothing Phone A-series will be different from last year’s. Last year, we got the base model Nothing Phone (2a) and the (2a) Plus, but Nothing is skipping the Plus model this year. Instead, the company will be going the Apple route by introducing a Pro model.

What’s the difference between the Nothing Phone (3a) and the (3a) Pro? Let’s find out.Different cameraAccording to a report from Smartprix, the main difference between the Nothing Phone (3a) and Pro models is the cameras. The Pro model will come with a triple camera setup.

This consists of a 50MP main shooter, a 50MP secondary with 3x zoom that supports OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide. The 3x zoom will also allow the phone to shoot 60x hybrid zoom. The sensor for the zoom camera is the Sony LYT-600 sensor found in other flagship phones like the realme 13 Pro+.

As for the base phone, the main 50MP and 8MP cameras are still there. However, instead of a 3x zoom camera, it will come with a 2x zoom. We’re not sure if the Nothing Phone (3a) will use the same Sony sensor as the Pro model, so we’ll have to wait and see.

However, the difference between 2x and 3x zoom isn’t that big. Some users might not see it worth the extra price, but some camera samples will help us arrive at a more informed decision.Other Nothing Phone (3a) specsNow that the difference between the Nothing Phone (3a) and Pro models have been revealed, what else can we expect from the phones? It seems that the cameras are the main differentiating factor here.

5GHz, 3x performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz, and 4x efficiency cores running at 1.8GHz.

We’re also hearing that both phones will sport a 6.72-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The phones will also come with eSIM support, which is great for users who need to swap out SIMs often.

Lastly, both phones will most likely pack a 5,000mAh battery.Based on this, the differences between the base and Pro models aren’t that big and are mostly in the camera department. Obviously pricing will be different too.

We’ll have to wait for the OnePlus announcement to see how big of a difference it will be.The post Here’s the difference between Nothing Phone (3a) and its Pro counterpart appeared first on Android Headlines..
