PRE-MATCH Hereford FC are hosting Chester this afternoon in the National League North. Back-to-back league wins has put Hereford back into the thick of the play-off battle. Hereford demolished Farsley Celtic 4-0 last weekend allowing boss Paul Caddis to rest some of his tired players.
The Bulls are in seventh position and five points behind today's fourth placed visitors Chester. At Edgar Street this season Hereford have won 11 of their 19 league matches. Caddis side have also won four of their last five games at Edgar Street.
A run of two wins in their last seven games has put an abrupt end to Chester's title hopes. Chester currently sit seven points behind leaders Scunthorpe with five games remaining. Any more dropped points would end their title ambitions.
Away from home this season's Chester's form has been mixed with nine wins, four draws and seven defeats..
