The ground game came to life for the Logan County football team in a 27-19 win at Warren East on Oct. 25. Logan County rushed for 192 yards, led by 101 yards from sophomore Christian Helle, to rally from 19 points down and keep its playoff hopes alive.
Helle said it was good to play his part in helping the Cougars run the ball in the comeback win. "That was really big," Helle said. "This season we really haven't been able to run the ball that much.
Finally tonight, we were able to get the run game going and get us a good win, so that was really big for us." Logan County wraps up the regular season hosting South Warren at 7 p.m.
