Heatwave in Karnataka: Government issues order to change office timings

Kalaburagi: In a recent development relating to the severe heatwave in Karnataka, the government has decided to change the office timings to the morning.Due to the heatwave, the Karnataka government has issued an order to change the government office hours from 8 am to 1:30 pm in April and May 2025 in as many as seven districts of Kalaburagi division and Vijayapura and Bagalkot districts of Belagavi division.The Karnataka State Government Employees Association kept an earlier proposal in this regard and the same has been approved by the Information and Public Relations Department.
