Heart of Worcestershire College and National Star win top award

The Heart of Worcestershire College and National Star were recognised for their work with young people with special educational needs and disabilities. They were praised for their collaboration in launching a specialist provision at the Worcester campus of the college. The venture, named National Star at the Heart of Worcestershire College, was awarded in the innovative specialist/mainstream partnership working category at the Natspec Innovation Awards.

The judge appreciated the "genuinely innovative three-way partnership between a local authority, a specialist FE college, and a general FE college". The partnership, which started in September 2024, offers specialist education..
