Another Sabarimala pilgrimage season is here, and the Kerala health department has ensured its service on all major routes. There will also be a 24/7 control centre in Pamba with doctors and volunteers who speak various languages. During the ascend to the temple, if a pilgrim feels uneasy, do not hesitate to take help from the nearest health centre set up for devotees.

Here are a few other pointers you should keep in mind during the pilgrimage: 1) If you are being treated for any ailment, keep details and documents on the same and the required medicines with you during the pilgrimage as well. 2) Do not stop your regular medicines during the pilgrimage season 3) To avoid discomfort due to the physically demanding ascend to the temple, practice walking and similar exercises before the day of the pilgrimage 4) If you aren't at your peak fitness, climb slowly and take rests whenever needed. Avoid the Neelamala route and opt for Swami Ayyppan road.
