Head constable among 12 caught gambling

Vadodara: A policeman was among the gamblers arrested by Makarpura police here on Sunday night. Police said they received a tip-off that some people were gambling at a house in Sharadnagar Society in the Tarsali area. Police raided the house where 12 men were allegedly found gambling.

During their questioning, police learned that one of the gamblers, Sanjay Bedse, is a head constable posted at Fatehgunj police station. Police seized Rs 2.14 lakh in cash from the spot along with mobile phones and vehicles.
