Australia medium-pacer Scott Boland has said that while he was lucky to bowl to KL Rahul during an India tour earlier, he is looking forward to trouble him when India A take on Australia A in an upcoming game. While most of the discussion is around which player will take up David Warner's spot in Australia's opening slot, Boland is looking to make a mark for himself. Rahul and reserve keeper Dhruv Jurel have flown to Australia for the second 'unofficial Test' between India A and Australia A beginning November 7 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground to give them some match time before the first game at Perth from November 22.

Rahul can come into the playing XI if India skipper Rohit Sharma misses the first Test or if the Indian team management decides to give him a go-ahead over the inexperienced Sarfaraz Khan. "I was lucky to bowl to him in a Test over in India a couple of years ago but it'll be nice to play against him in our backyard. He's a world-class player but someone I think we can get on top of pretty early and hopefully stay on top of him for the majority of the summer," Boland was quoted as saying by ESPNCricinfo.

Like several Aussie players, the medium-pacer has also taken note of India's whitewash at the hands of New Zealand at home but Boland believes that one shouldn't decipher a lot about India from the result. "There's so much more bounce here, more seam. The way they'll structure their team will be completely different to what you see over in India," Boland said.

The medium-pacer has been working his way out of a heel injury and recently bowled 28 overs in a Sheffield Shield game against New South Wales. Boland has picked five wickets in two Tests against India at an impressive economy of 2.62.
