HBO's 'Harry Potter' series cast announced: Find out who's playing Dumbledore, Snape, and more

A post shared by Max (@streamonmax) Oddly, the one I'm the most on the fence about is Lithgow. I think he's an great actor but he comes off as more of a movie 1-2 Dumbledor but not the second Dumbledor. It'll be interesting to see if he can pull it off.

Snape was a very big character in these books and movies and why do we have to divert completely from how they describe him and portray him in the films? I’m all for diversity and inclusivity but why not just make a new character...
