The Melbourne-born funnyman said he wasn't sure if he was the right fit for the Robert Irwin hosted show: 'I have been asked that before and I don't know. 'It's just too much sitting around for me.
I'm one of those people that can't stand still.' Co-host Brendan Fevola , 43, jumped in to say that made him a perfect fit for the series as it gave him a strategic advantage: 'That's the beauty of it, because that's when people break!' 'Yeah, I do like that part.' Merrick added and Fevola responded that his stint on the series in 2016 was the most fun he had ever had .
