Haryana assembly election: AAP prepared with their seats, to announce candidates on says Sanjay Singh

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is ready with its list of candidates for the upcoming Haryana assembly election. Talks are ongoing between AAP and Congress about forming an alliance, but AAP is prepared to contest all 90 seats if necessary. The election is scheduled for October 5, with results announced on October 8.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh on Monday said that the party was ready with the list of candidates contending on their seats in the upcoming Haryana assembly election . This comes amid talks about Congress and AAP forming an alliance to fight the election in the state. "Sandeep Pathak and Sushil Gupta have made it clear that we are fully prepared and we have completed the entire process of announcing our seats or contesting elections.

As soon as they get permission from the party organisation and the national president Arvind Kejriwal, we will contest elections," said Sanjay Singh, adding that AAP was a national party and had a strong organisation in the state of Haryana. AAP Haryana state president, Gupta, had recently suggested that the party was ready to contest all 90 seats in the election. He said that there was not enough time as the last date for nominations is September 12.



Singh further added that the party would go solo into the elections if the Congress-AAP. This comes a day after AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha said both Congress and his party are trying to forge an alliance for the Haryana elections by keeping aside their individual aspirations. He, however, added that the AAP will not proceed with the alliance "if there is no win-win situation".

"Ball by ball commentary cannot be done on the seat-sharing arrangement. Both the parties have desire and hope to form an alliance," he added.
