Held in the Millennium Court in Portadown, it was the first event for both schools as part of the Shared Education programme for this academic year. Parents , friends, governors and principals from both schools attended this wonderful event as well people and businesses from the area. Barclays Bank and Healthy Kidz staff came along to show their support too.

The organisers stated: “A huge thanks to Portadown Credit Union for their very generous donation to Macmillan. A lovely sense of community was felt throughout the morning. A wide variety of sweet treats were available for people to enjoy as well as tea, coffee and juice.

"Both schools would like to thank the following for their help and support in order to make the coffee morning such a wonderful success: Rhiannon’s Cake and Bakes for providing the most amazing and super tasty traybakes and cupcakes; Kitchen Bakes, Portadown, for the great selection of traybakes, they were thoroughly enjoyed; Asda, Portadown, for the biscuits and gluten free treats; P & G, Portadown, for the tea, coffee, milk and sugar; T.Knox & Sons Food Court for the buns and cakes; Just Desserts and Pastries for the delicious traybakes. "Also, a big thanks to the Millennium Court in Portadown, who allowed the schools to use their amazing building to host the event.

A huge thank you from both schools for allowing this. The staff were amazing and couldn’t have done enough to help.” Here’s a flavour of the event in 10 photos by Tony Hendron.
