Labor Day celebrates the contributions of workers in building our nation and the contributions their fight for rights has benefited our lifestyle. The three-day Labor Day weekend also stands as a last vestige of the summer vacation season. It's fitting, as the community and the nation get back to work (and school counts as work), that we reflect — through the wise words of others, culled from a variety of sources — on the nature of doing that work well.
