Julio Enciso has completed his loan move to Ipswich Town - on his 21st birthday. He has linked up with his new colleagues and could feature in their trip to Liverpool at the weekend. The Paraguay international is on board with the Tractor Boys for the rest of the season.

He will be anxious to find the form which made him a rising Prem star towards the end of the 2022-23 season. Enciso told the Ipswich Town media platforms: “I am so happy to be here. “The conversations with the manager have been good.

I am very grateful to him and the Club for believing in me. I can’t wait to get going. “I’m a real fighter and I will do my best in every game.

” He follows in the footsteps of Albion colleague and good friend Jeremy Sarmiento, who helped the Tractor Boys to promotion in the second half of last season. Albion boss Fabian Hurzeler said: “Julio wants to play regularly, and that is not something we can guarantee with so many options in our attacking positions. “Ipswich have offered Julio the possibility of more regular game time, and the move is the right one for all concerned.

“We will keep a close eye on his progress as the season continues, and we wish him well for his time with Ipswich.”.
