On November 14, Hanwha Ocean announced that 19 military officials involved in submarine operations from five countries, including Saudi Arabia, Chile, Peru, and Ecuador, visited its Geoje facility alongside the Chief of the Polish Navy, Jarosław Ziemiański. During their visit, the officials toured Hanwha Ocean's submarine construction site, technical training center, and research facilities, and experienced advanced technology through a VR painting simulation. They received detailed explanations about Hanwha Ocean's world-class submarine construction capabilities, adherence to delivery schedules, and training programs for crew members and maintenance personnel to ensure stable submarine operations.

This visit is particularly significant in relation to Poland's ongoing "Orca Project." Last month, key figures from the Polish Navy, including the head of the Naval Academy, also visited the submarine construction site at Hanwha Ocean, expressing deep admiration for the company's submarine building capabilities. General Ziemiański remarked, "It was very impressive to witness the South Korean Navy's active submarine operating capabilities firsthand and to visit the construction site of Hanwha Ocean's Changbogo-III Batch-II submarine today.

" He expressed a positive outlook on the possibilities for cooperation between the two countries. Additionally, Hanwha Ocean organized a meeting with South American military officials to explore collaboration opportunities. They introduced Hanwha Ocean's submarine technology and products to officials from Peru, Chile, and Ecuador and discussed local demands and geopolitical circumstances, which is expected to serve as a crucial stepping stone for entering the South American market.

Sung-woo Park, Executive Director of Hanwha Ocean's Special Ship Overseas Business Division, stated, "The Orca Project presents an important opportunity to further strengthen economic and industrial cooperation between Korea and Poland.".
