I recently had the chance to spend time with Lenovo’s Legion Pro 5i Gaming Laptop and in this video I walk through the experience of using, it’s features and benefits and why you should consider it, if you’re chasing desktop-class performance that you can take anywhere. Inside you’re find a new Intel 14th-Gen, Core i9 processor, which is Intel’s fastest gaming mobile processor that delivers incredible performance for gamers and productivity. Lenovo has paired this with 32 Gigabytes of DDR5 RAM, A 1TB SSD, and a powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, this is effectively desktop-class performance in a laptop you can take with you anywhere.

The 16-inch IPS display, runs a 2560×1600 resolution and something I love is the 16:10 aspect ratio with the extra vertical height over 16:9 allows you to fit more on the screen. If you’re used to 13′′ and 14′′ laptops, the 16′′ display feels so generous and immersive by comparison. When it comes to Software, Lenovo includes an app called Lenovo Vantage.

This offers the ability to configure settings like GPU Hybrid Mode. Hybrid mode allows you actually run both the dedicated Nvidia GPU as well as the integrated Intel UHD Graphics and gives you the control over the balance between performance and battery life. Naturally, being a gaming laptop, there’s some RGB backlighting under the keyboard, but this is done tastefully and is easily personalised through the Vantage app.

Personally I loved the diversity in applications for the laptop. On my desk, it powered my 49′′ Ultrawide monitor for productivity, or my racing simulator when I want to go drifting, but I also enjoy the ability to take it outside and be entertained while taking in the view. The laptop is available now in Australia and starts at just at A$2,399, representing great performance at a great price.

I hope you enjoy the video and for more information, head to.
