A Hampshire-based heating and plumbing firm has been named Which? Trusted Trader of the Month. Gair Home Services, from Chandler's Ford, earned the November 2024 recognition for its high customer care standards and community contributions. The company was founded by former British Gas engineer Andy Gair in 2002.
Initially operating as 'Gair Gas' and focusing on boilers, the firm has since broadened its services to include plumbing, electrics, and home renewables. Now, Gair Home Services employs 20 staff members, encompassing engineers, an administration team, and young apprentices. Being recognised as a Which? Trusted Trader requires companies to consistently deliver excellent customer service, a standard Gair Home Services is noted for upholding.
This is especially significant in their dealings with older or more vulnerable customers, who can often fall prey to scams. Gair Home Services has also seen its apprentices successfully qualify under its guidance, further demonstrating its commitment to quality service and staff development. Mr Gair said: "We were so pleased to be awarded Which Trusted Trader.
We’ve been running for 20 years helping the local community, so it’s great that we have been recognised for our work with vulnerable customer. "It’s been a real team effort , we’ve got great staff, who are always there to help and really care about our customers.".
