
The Brutalist star Adrien Brody reunited with Halle Berry tonight on the Oscars red carpet and the pair recreated one of the most iconic moments in Oscars history. Halle, 58, who won an Oscar in 2001 for Monster’s Ball, grabbed Adrien and planted a smashing kiss on his lips as soon as they came face-to-face, leaving everyone in the Dolby Theatre as well as watching from home, shocked. The Die Another Day actress joked that the surprise lip lock was ‘payback’ for when Adrien had pulled her in for a theatrical kiss during the 2003 ceremony, right after he had won his Academy Award for The Pianist.
Interrupting Adrien’s red carpet bytes with reporters, Halle addressed Adrien’s partner, Georgina Chapman , right before going in for the kiss and said: "I'm sorry, Georgina, but I've gotta do it."
