Not everybody wants their baby to be an influencer. Halle Bailey spoke out against her ex-DDG after their son, Halo, was on Kai Cenat’s Twitch stream without her permission, and the clip was reshared to YouTube. “I wasn’t told or notified, and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people,” Bailey wrote on X in a now-deleted post.
“I am his mother and protector and saddened that i wasn’t notified especially when i am out of town.” DDG responded to Bailey’s comments via YouTube video, asking his audience to have empathy for Bailey (after plugging his new song at the top of the video). “She could be going through something mentally after having a kid that I can’t understand as a man.
So when situations like this happen, I try to handle it with as much grace as possible because Halo needs her, I need her, we need each other to create a childhood that’s safe and fun and memorable for him,” he shared. The two must’ve worked it out privately as Bailey apologized for what happened. “yesterday maybe i did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here.
i know that halo is always safe with his dad. i just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing,” she posted . Fair enough, as long as baby Halo isn’t doing any unauthorized sponsorships anytime soon.
