Haim have previewed the next single from their upcoming fourth album – check out the snippet below.READ MORE: Haim live in London: sisters make huge return to spiritual homeThe Los Angeles sister trio returned last month with a breezy, R&B-tinged track called ‘Relationships’, which arrived with a Drew Starkey-starring music video. A press release noted that it offered “a contrast to the forthcoming album’s rock sound”.

Now, the band shared a brief preview of another new song. The as-yet-untitled single cut bears a rawer, more guitar-led sonic style, with frontwoman Danielle Haim singing about “being the gatekeeper for the rest of my life“.An accompanying video clip of Haim displays the line: “This is your sign to leave him”.

III’. During a recent interview, the trio revealed that the record would feature an as-yet-uncleared sample of George Michael’s ‘Freedom! ’90’.The track in question, titled ‘Gone’, is the opening track to the new LP, and reportedly captures the feeling of clarity after a break-up.

The record will also contain a song called ‘Take Me Back’.Alana Haim told I-D that the upcoming album was “the closest we’ve ever gotten to how we wanted to sound”, adding that it was a “completely different experience” recording this time around.Haim once again worked with producer Rostam Batmanglij (Vampire Weekend, Clairo) on the record.

“Working with Rostam, in general it’s very quick, kinetic with him, which I really love as an artist,” Danielle explained. “Maybe before, it wasn’t that way, it was kind of a more..

The event is set to take place in Sefton Park, Liverpool next month. The group are also scheduled to make appearances at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Porto this summer.Meanwhile, Danielle Haim has teamed up with Bon Iver on his new single ‘If Only I Could Wait’.
