Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is showing off her slimmer look. On Sunday, April 13, the 33-year-old Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star posted a pair of side-by-side photos on Instagram to highlight her weight loss transformation. She captioned the post, "My 25lbs weight loss 💗.

" Alongside an older photo of herself wearing a black dress at a red carpet event, she shared a new mirror selfie. In the latter image, she can be seen sporting a stylish outfit featuring a white sleeveless, halter-style vest, jeans and a pair of black stiletto booties. In a comment on her post, Blanchard revealed more details about her weight loss journey — largely crediting a "healthier" diet for her results.



"I’ve seen a lot of comments of people asking how I lost the weight so my weight loss journey started once getting out of prison so when I started eating healthier instead of prison food, the weight began to fall off," she wrote. "I started eating twice a day and smaller portions." The Munchausen by proxy victim, who served eight years in prison after pleading guilty to the second-degree murder of her mother, became a first-time mom in December when she welcomed her daughter Aurora together with partner Ken Urker .

She expressed how she hopes to build the kind of mother-daughter bond with Aurora that she feels she "didn't have" with her own mom.

"It's nice that I can just step into that role of a mother and see how it's supposed to be." She also shared why she was "relieved" to have a girl rather than a boy.
