Peter Sarsgaard has revealed that his wife Maggie Gyllenhaal’s new film “The Bride!” will be a violent, punk, wildly romantic film that’s also got song and dance sequences? Warner Bros. Pictures is releasing the film which stars Christian Bale, Jessie Buckley, Annette Bening, Penelope Cruz, John Mulaney, Sarsgaard and Jake Gyllenhaal. The $80-100 million project has been dubbed a reimagination of James Whale’s iconic 1935 classic “Bride of Frankenstein” in which a lonely Frankenstein monster (Bale) travels to 1930s Chicago to seek the aide of a Dr.

Euphronius in creating a companion for himself. The two reinvigorate a murdered young woman and the Bride (Jessie Buckley) is born. She is beyond what either of them intended, igniting a combustible romance, the attention of the police and a wild and radical social movement.
