STAFF REPORTER In a significant breakthrough, Bhangagarh police have arrested another woman named Chompi Basumatary, from Garchuk, in connection with allegedly selling of . This arrest comes on the heels of another woman being arrested named Munu for mediating the sale of a newborn girl near Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH). The police said that the baby was sold after the discharge of the mother from GMCH, but till now, police could not find the actual parents of the newborn.
