WAYNE, PA — Guardian Capital Partners has successfully closed a single-asset continuation fund aimed at supporting Havis, Inc., a leader in mobile workforce solutions. The oversubscribed fund brings together existing and new limited partners, including co-lead investors Kline Hill Partners and Barings, to provide liquidity for existing Havis shareholders and fuel the company’s growth through strategic acquisitions.
The transaction allows Guardian to extend its investment in Havis, headquartered in Warminster, PA, and continue building on the company’s success in engineering solutions for public safety and enterprise markets. “This transaction demonstrates our steadfast commitment to and belief in Havis’ continued growth potential,” said Scott Evans, Managing Partner at Guardian. “We were pleased to deliver what we believe to be an outstanding outcome for our investors while building on our partnership with Havis and its world-class executive team.
” Havis CEO Max Rogers praised the extended relationship, stating, “Guardian has been a fantastic partner. We are excited to deepen our relationship and continue to execute our shared vision for the company’s next phase of growth as a leader in our core markets.” With newly secured capital, Havis plans to amplify its market presence through acquisitions and product innovation.
Peter Haabestad, Managing Partner at Guardian, emphasized the fund’s dual purpose. “This transaction allowed us to provide our investors with an accelerated liquidity option at a market-driven price, while also enhancing the resources available to enable Havis to execute on its long-term growth plans.” Barings, a co-lead investor, echoed this optimism.
“We are thrilled to deepen our 15+ year relationship with Guardian and to provide the capital to help fund the next phase of Havis’ growth, in line with our strategy of investing in high-growth opportunities where we see strong alignment,” said Mina Pacheco Nazemi, Head of Barings Diversified Alternative Equity. Raudel Yanez, Managing Director at Kline Hill Partners, also noted the firm’s enthusiasm. “We are excited to support Havis’ continued growth and expansion in the company’s core markets as well as new and emerging markets.
Kline Hill and Barings are pleased to expand our partnership with Guardian as co-lead investors in the Continuation Fund.” The transaction also saw William Blair act as exclusive financial advisor, with legal advisory support from Latham & Watkins LLP for Guardian and Cleary Gottlieb for Kline Hill and Barings. With strong backing from key investors and a strategy for continued growth, Havis is positioned to strengthen its leadership in mobile workforce solutions across critical industries.
