GTA VI It’s not an accident that the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI has yet to be revealed. It’s all a part of the plan. However, if you’re like most everyone in the gaming community, you have at least some level of anticipation for Rockstar to release the second trailer for GTAVI .

It’s been well over a year since the first one released and nearly broke the internet with record views across multiple social media platforms. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick spoke to Bloomberg in a video posted to the latter’s YouTube channel on March 28 that explains why the second trailer hasn’t been released. Here is a look at the entire interview: Based on the mammoth success the Grand Theft Auto series has enjoyed, who could logically bring themselves to disagree? While the thirst for information on a game that looks poised to re-define the genre again is high, thus far Rockstar has resisted any urge to provide more official breadcrumbs.

Someone made a Studio Ghibli-style set of images from the trailer. I’d be lying if I said these aren’t great. As it is, there is reason to believe a second teaser or marketing push could begin as early as April.

According to financial statements from Take-Two, the organization appears to have allotted for a $74.5 million marketing budget beginning in April, which is when the next fiscal year begins. That sum doesn’t have to be earmarked for GTA VI marketing, but it would make sense considering the game is scheduled to release in the fall, and we haven’t seen a trailer in more than 500 days.

For that much money, there’s no telling what kind of marketing push could be funded to drive GTA fans crazy with excitement and anticipation. There is one area of the game that isn’t getting discussed: the Rockstar Editor. PC users have utilized this tool to record, edit, and present GTA -driven cinema and shorts.

I’ve been fascinated with the tool, but I haven’t been able to commit enough time to it to make something on par with some of the concepts I’ve pondered. In any case, if it makes it to GTA VI , you’d have to imagine the capabilities will be even more vast, and thus the community creations all the more impressive. What new level of entertainment and content will this release deliver? Fingers crossed that we will find out sooner rather than later.
