VEHARI - Assistant Commissioner Ghazala Kanwal visited Chak No 33/WB to monitor the wheat yield competition. The officer personally supervised the wheat harvesting and yield measurement process. While speaking on this occasion, she said that under the farmer-friendly initiatives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, transparent monitoring of wheat yield competitions is being ensured.
She further stated that at the district level, the top-performing farmer will receive a cash prize of Rs1 million, the second position holder will get Rs. 800,000, and the third will be awarded Rs. 500,000.
