Groups build new roof over veteran's home

A Maryland Korean War veteran has a new roof over his head thanks to Operation Raise the Roof and Valor Home. A recent storm toppled trees in Edgewater, Anne Arundel County, damaging Bill Sutton's home. Sutton served in the Army from 1953 to 1961, during which he provided medical care to fellow soldiers as a chief neuropsychiatric technician in Kitzingen, Germany. Operation: Raise the Roof does more than just construction. Part of its mission is to ensure veterans experiencing homelessness have a warm and dry place to call their own.
