A week before Ground Zero's release, Tejas exclusively interacted with Zoom. In conversation with us, the director revealed how BSF officer Dubey reacted after watching the film. BSF Narendra Nath Dubey's reaction to Ground Zero Speaking exclusively to Zoom, Tejas revealed, "When we showed the film to Dubey sir and his family, the only thing I can express is that he hugged me so tightly and for so long.

It just gave everything—his emotions, and what he felt about watching the film. If the person that I'm talking about in the film is happy, or rather if he's satisfied with what I have done on screen, I think that is the biggest feedback I should be looking for." Sharing the officer's family reaction, the Ground Zero director mentioned, "His family was emotional because they had gone through it (real situation) with Dubey sir.

It's not easy to be a soldier's family. It's very difficult. And what Mr.

Dubey has gone through, actually you'll watch it in the film—but it is tremendous and beyond hard. The entire family stood by him and the they actually loved the film. I would say that it's the greatest compliment and validation.

It's complete for me as a filmmaker." ALSO READ - Ground Zero: Emraan Hashmi Film's Srinagar Screening Attended By BSF Jawans For the uninitiated, BSF officer Narendra Nath Dubey carried out a 2-year operation to execute Ghazi Baba. He was the mastermind behind the 2001 Indian Parliament Attack.
