Journalist and broadcaster Aasmah Mir has shared her experience of working with Gregg Wallace on Celebrity Masterchef as she explained why she didn't open up on his "inappropriate behaviour" sooner. The former BBC contestant appeared on the popular cooking show back in 2017, when she alleged that the presenter made some derogoratory comments on the set. Speaking to Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley on Wednesday's episode of Good Morning Britain , the Masterchef contestant explained that the show had "paused to reset" while filming as she continued: "In front of everybody, the judges, the crew, the other contestants were quite far behind me.

.. "And Gregg Wallace said to me 'oh do you work at Radio 4?' And I thought 'oh how nice, he's doing that presenter thing.

He's relaxing you'." Aasmah shared that he asked her did she know someone who worked there and she thought that the conversation was flowing as normal until he allegedly dropped the bombshell: "Tell her from me, she's a sexy b**ch." Richard put his head in his head as he gasped: "Oh gosh," before the ITV guest continued: "There was a silence.

And then I laughed awkwardly, because I just remember thinking, 'this is mad'. I wish I hadn't laughed, but I did." She explained that no one said anything before they were urged to move on with what was happening on set.

"I just remember thinking 'am I going mad?'" recalled the star. This is a breaking live TV story, the Showbiz Express.co.
