Journalist and broadcaster Aasmah Mir has opened up about her time on Celebrity Masterchef with Gregg Wallace, detailing why she hadn't previously spoken out about his "inappropriate behaviour". The ex-BBC contestant, who appeared on the hit culinary show in 2017, claimed that the host made derogatory remarks while on set. During an interview with Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley on Good Morning Britain, Mir recounted an incident where filming was halted for a reset, saying: "In front of everybody, the judges, the crew, the other contestants were quite far behind me.
.." She continued, recalling how Wallace enquired if she worked at Radio 4, which initially seemed like friendly banter until he allegedly said: "Tell her from me, she's a sexy *****.

The ITV guest continued: "There was a silence.
And then I laughed awkwardly because I just remember thinking, 'This is mad'. I wish I hadn't laughed, but I did." She explained that no one said anything before they were urged to move on with what was happening on set.
"I just remember thinking 'am I going mad?'" recalled the star..
