Multiple Big Ten teams struggled in Week 2. The Michigan Wolverines, Penn State Nittany Lions, Iowa Hawkeyes, and Oregon Ducks had issues. The Texas Longhorns humbled Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Penn State nearly lost to the Bowling Green Falcons. Iowa lost to the Iowa State Cyclones on a go-ahead field goal. Oregon kept things close with the Boise State Broncos and needed a field goal as time expired to win.

In a recent " Always College Football " episode, Greg McElroy highlighted Michigan's loss in Week 2. After the loss, McElroy said Michigan was not close to the top of the Big Ten. It was Michigan's first regular-season loss since 2021 and the program's first home loss since 2020.

"...

While I think they're still going to be a tough team to beat, I don't think they're anywhere near the top of the Big 10," McElroy said. "..

.There's a lot of question marks right now kind of across the board for the Big 10." Junfu Han / USA TODAY NETWORK The Wolverines did not have much success passing or running the football.

Texas held Michigan quarterback Davis Warren to 204 passing yards and the team to 82 rushing yards. The Texas defense also forced three turnovers. Michigan has won the Big Ten Championship each year since 2021.

Moore and the Wolverines are at home again in Week 3. They take on the Arkansas State Redwolves on Sept. 14.
