Cookie lovers and those who love helping out their community are in for a delicious and rewarding day on Saturday, Dec. 14. The Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity will host its annual Cookie Walk from 9 a.

m. to noon at Zoe’s Cafe, 715 10th St., Greeley.

The Cookie Walk, which started in 2018, benefits Weld County families to realize their dreams of homeownership. It’ll feature a winding walk filled with homemade cookies of all varieties available for purchase by the pound. Mrs.

Claus will be there to take pictures with the children, who will also have the opportunity to create their own special Christmas ornament. The comfort dogs from Redeemer Lutheran Church will be there, too, along with live music from various local musicians and schools. Since 1987, the Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity has built more than 250 homes in Weld County.
